A PLAYBOY model hoping to be crowned this year’s Miss BumBum is squatting in the gym for TWO HOURS every day after ditching her vegetarian diet for daily meals of steak, ham, chicken, and cans of tuna.
Gorgeous Jeni Summers is vying to be the first international winner of the Brazilian beauty contest – and is she is taking the challenge very seriously.
Speaking to The Sun Online from her Mexico home, the curvy blonde revealed the gruelling training – and eating – schedule she’s adopted ahead of the competition later this year.
She said: “I usually train for a couple of hours a day at least five days a week and even twice some days.
“To make sure my body has all the protein it needs I underwent a major diet change, going from being vegetarian to eating five meals of day with tons of meat and a minimum of 200g of protein per sitting.”
For breakfast Jeni will tuck in to ham and two eggs, mid-morning snack is porridge made with protein powder, with three further meals made up of two cans of tuna, a steak, a chicken or salmon fillet plus two cups of rice, salad and avocado.
Not only do the meals feed her growing bum, they keep her going through her gruelling weight lifting sessions, mammoth squat and lunge marathons and cardio intensive boxing.
Staying in shape is nothing new for Jeni, who now works full-time for Playboy Mexico.
She said: “I am Playboy Mexico’s Playmate, and a four-time international Playboy Playmate cover model.
“Today I’m still modelling and I am also Playboy Mexico’s Playmate manager and coordinator of production and events.”
But her life hasn’t been all about posing in front of the lens, she started out as a cheerleader for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in her home state of Florida USA, which not only gave her her love of skimpy and sparkly outfits, but some unusual skills.
Jeni said: “I was a cheerleader for eight years and I can twirl three batons, knives and fire.
“I have some amazing ideas of the outfits I will wear if I make the finals.
“They’ll represent that I am an American living in Mexico and it will be blinged out so I will sparkle so bright on stage.”
There’s extra pressure for Jeni as she was especially invited by organisers to be the competition’s first ever international contestant.
But that doesn’t mean she’s getting special treatment, and has had to train just as hard – if not harder – than the other hopefuls.
She explained: “I was invited to take part, and as this is the first time Miss BumBum has welcomed international contestants I immediately said yes – I wanted to make history.
“There are 27 finalists and all of them are Brazilian accept myself and a girl from Portugal.
“We are now at the voting stage, and the top 15 from votes will go to finals in November.”
The winner of Miss BumBum will get a cash prize – and the priceless accolade of the best bum in Brazil.
Jeni also wants to use her year of being the brand ambassador for charity work, and to further her own modelling career.
Previous winner and the most famous of all Miss BumBums is Suzy Cortez, a friend of Jeni’s.
However, she says she hasn’t asked her for any tips about how to twerk her way to the top, but it certain that she has got what it takes to win.
Jeni said: “I could win, it won’t be easy, but it I can get through this next voting stage in to the final 15 I think I could do really well.
“I am still training very hard and growing an amazing bum bum – and I am not scared of stages at all.
“I will put on a great show as long as I can make it to the finals. I just need help spread the word to vote then I can take it from there on stage for sure.
“When you are use to performing in front of 65,000 fans like I used to when I was a cheerleader, you learn a thing or two about putting on an incredible show.”
The 29-year-old also explained that she doesn’t think it’s surprising that Miss BumBum has gone from a niche Brazilian competition to an international phenomena.
She said: “I’ve always loved bums ALWAYS, but just like everything else fashion, drinks, colours, cars, brands, I think it’s a trend once it’s thrown in your face.
“Once it’s acceptable and it becomes a big deal to couple of influential people it catches on and those who always liked it speak up more about it and other start to like too.”
Jeni’s incredible figure is “all natural from the boobs down”, something she is very proud of.
She said: “I am 100 per cent all natural, no surgery and no ‘enhancements’ from my boobs down.
“My boobs are not real, but my stomach, waist, butt, hips and legs are all real.
“I have never had injections implants or Lipo fat transfer.
“This is something I am very proud of, and not that I wouldn’t do any procedures in the future, I support anyone who wants to have surgeries but I would never do it then compete.
“My booty is home grown in Mexico lots of food and lots of training.”
Her Latino bum has obviously made her very popular with the opposite sex, and she recalls one time a man at the gym waited for her PT to go home before making a move on her.
And while she is dating someone at the moment, Jeni admits sometime’s it’s hard to meet a man who respects her career.
She said: “I’ve been single since April, but recently I started to date someone.
“He seems very supportive and OK with me competing in Miss BumBum, but who knows? Some men say they can handle me doing stuff like that and being a Playmate and then their true colours show after a couple months.”
