MTV VMAs: Here are the people who went home with many awards

Kendrick Lamar came out on top of this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, dominating the winner’s list with six of the evening’s 15 awards.

The Compton-born rapper had the honor of taking home six Moon Men tonight, earning honors for Video Of The Year, Best Hip Hop and more.

While the Damn rapper dominated the field other artists also enjoyed their victories, with rookie Khalid winning Best Newcomer and songwriter Ed Sheeran earning Best Artist Of The Year.

Posing up a storm backstage, the performer appeared in great spirits as he lined up his accolades from the annual awards ceremony in front of photographers.

Clad in a quirky ensemble, Lamar donned a pair of tailored trousers with a printed shirt and oversized jacket – sporting a slew of chunky silver jewellery around his neck and wrists.
