It was a continued run in recent form for both sides. Arsenal continued to impress while Klopp’s Liverpool were found wanting yet and early again.
Gabriel Martinelli haunted the Liverpool defence without wasting time as he finished off Odegaard’s assist in just the 58th second of the game.
However, Nunez grabbed an equaliser later in the first half to cancel out the Brazilian’s opener.
Liverpool continued to dominate the first half afterwards, until Bukayo Saka scored again for the hosts after a well coordinated counter attack .
The Reds responded early in the second half; Firmino scored to put his side on level terms at the Emirates.
Their joy was However short-lived as Gabriel Jesus won a penalty from what looked to be a slight nibble from Thiago.
Saka was on target again as he converted the penalty which was the last and decisive goal of the game.
The loss will bother Jurgen Klopp greatly, but he also has injury woes to think about again. Both Luis Diaz and Alexander-Arnold were substituted in and after the fist half respectively due to injuries.
