Suspense hovers around the Etihad. Forces are beginning to work against the Cityzens, and they don’t know where the danger lurks from. It can be felt though; Bernado may just be on his way out of the club this summer.
In a birthday interview with ESPN, the Portuguese player did not state clearly, but certainly hinted that he would be happier in another club. Barcelona. Now the Cityzens are left with no other option but to hope that they can keep their boy till the month and transfer window is over.
Here is what Silva said in his interview.
Bernardo Silva: “I’ve always said that I’m happy at Man City but I have no idea what’s going to happen. We’ll see, honestly. My relationship with the club is very honest. I’ve been open with them and they know what I want.”
Bernardo Silva: “If I stay, I’m very happy and I will always respect this club and give all my best. If not, it’s football and we’ll just see what happens.”
Bernardo Silva: “Man City is a big club and they don’t want players who are not happy. They always say to us that if you’re not happy, you can go. Of course, they are in business and they want the right money for us but personally it’s a relationship that is very respectful.”
Bernardo Silva: “They’ve always been honest with me and I’ve always been honest with them. I will always respect my relationship with Man City, the fans, staff, my teammates so whatever happens, happens and it for sure will happen in a very respectful way.”
