Chelsea are close to signing Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling for £45 million plus £10m add ons according to Fabrizio Romano.
Sterling has reportedly agreed to terms on a contract that will make him one of Chelsea’s highest-paid players.
Raheem Sterling’s transfer to Chelsea is apparently about to be finalized. Sky Sports report that the Blues are in agreement with the winger and negotiations with Manchester City are also in the home stretch.
The Londoners should put a transfer fee of around £50 million euros on the table for the England international. The club expects Sterling to sign it in time to join his new teammates on their preseason tour of the United States, according to The Independent’s Miguel Delaney. Chelsea’s first preseason match will take place July 16 in Las Vegas.
In 2015, the Jamaican-born moved from Liverpool to Manchester for 64 million euros, where he won the Premier League four times, among other things.
The right winger has already played 320 games in Premier League games recording 109 goals with 56 assists.
