Pep Guardiola has been one of Europe’s all-time best managers. The Spanish tactical genius has racked up 29 trophies in his still ongoing managerial career, ranking him third place in the World’s most successful managers.
The Catalan manager is 19 trophies shy of record holder Alex Ferguson, but is well on course to overwrite the Ferguson’s 48-trophy record.
While it has been uncertain as to whether Guardiola would ride on the wings of his present Etihad side to further attain greater heights, he has provided fresh update as regarding his future at Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola: “I said many times I’d extend, if they want it I’ll stay longer.”
“I don’t need to change anything about my life, I’m happy. We spoke to the club. Middle of the season, end of the season we will talk again.”
With the success that the Spanish manager has brought to his English side, it will be no doubt to see Manchester City keep Guardiola for another five years. The champions league glory may just come knocking at their door within that period.
