Cody Gakpo names Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man City, Man Utd and Liverpool as dream transfer destinations, but rules out January move.
The 23-year-old who has been heavily linked with Manchester United last summer, as he was close to joining them, has revealed his dream destinations, however, he is staying at PSV Eindhoven until the summer.
Surprisingly, Arsenal are not among the clubs he has said he would be interested in joining, yet they are among the clubs said to be following him closely.
“I think at the end of this season I will be ready to take that step. I feel like I was already that way at the start of this season, but after this season I’m even more ready to take that next step,” said Gakpo to NOS.
“Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool. It would be an honour to play there, but I also have to see what kind of team would suit me best.”
This season, Cody Gakpo has scored nine goals and provided 12 assists in just 14 games in Eredivisie.
