Manchester City have announced that Riyad Mahrez have officially extended his contract until 2025. Mahrez contract was due to expire next summer but has now extended the contract for a further 2 years.
The Algerian joined the Manchester Club back in 2018 for a club record £60m from Leicester City. He has since scored 63 goals and further provided 45 assists for the Cityzens. He even ended as the club’s top scorer last season with 24 goals in all competitions.
The 31 year old has enjoyed huge success at the club winning 3 EPL titles, 3 EFL cups, 1 FA cup and 2 community shields including the domestic quadruple back in 2019.
The Algerian Captain is of course delighted to continue his chapter at the club and the club are pleased to have him with them.
