Manchester are increasingly likely to sign Brazilian talent Mattheus Franca from Flamengo, reports from Julio Miguel Neto. The youngster has scored 4 goals and created 3 assists in just 11 appearances for the Brazilian side this season.
It is no doubts that Pep Guardiola has been a fan of South American talents following the purchases of (now departed) Gabriel Jesus, Kayky and even new signing – Julian Alvarez.
With Man City poised to complete a deal for Emilo Lawrence, the blues will still look to strengthen the EDS (Elite Development squad) following departures of Pedro Porro, Romeo Lavia, Darko Gyabi, CJ Egan-Riley, Jayden Braaf as well as loan exits for Tommy Doyle, Callum Doyle, Taylor Harwood-Bellis and potentially, it is clear why city will need to strengthen the squad and the Brazilian, Franca is highly appreciated at the club
Franca has however caught the attention of a number of European teams and one that stands out is Spanish giants – Real Madrid. The Spanish side also has a track record of acquiring young Brazilian talents following the acquisition of Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo Goes. They will now look to add Franca to their Brazilian collection as well.
