Manchester City have joined the fray to sign FC Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala, reports Calciomercato.
According to reports from this Italian newspaper, Pep Guardiola is considering bringing the England youngester in Manchester City’s midfield.
Manchester City signed Kalvin Phillips from Leeds United this summer but he never got enough playing time, as Rodri, de Bruyne and Bernardo are the team’s three main midfield players.
Even if one of these players make the bench in this team, Kalvin Philipps doesn’t come close as Ilkay Gundogan is the one who immediately gets the opportunity to start.
Pep Guardiola wants to add a midfielder in Manchester City, so Jamal Musiala is said to be on the list for a move to the club.
Although Manchester City are interested in the 19-year-old, it seems unlikely after Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salhamdzic previously said that Musiala is not for sale.
The German international has made 90 appearances for Bayern so far in his career, with the youngster registering 22 goals and 13 assists for the Bundesliga outfit.
