The Premier League champions Manchester City are reportedly lining up Serge Gnabry as Raheem Sterling’s replacement if the 26 years old winger leaves the club this summer.
Gnabry’s current contract is due to expire next year, and he has reportedly turned down an offer for a new deal from Bayern, who are keen to retain the services of the German player.
He scored 14 goals in 34 league appearances last season, helping Bayern Munich win their 10th consecutive Bundesliga title.
According to The Sun, Manchester City would have to meet the reported £35m asking price and fight off competition from Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool who have all been linked with Gnabry who has been reported that if a new contract cannot be agreed then the officials would prepare to offload Gnabry in the current transfer window instead of losing him on a free transfer next summer and City putting interest to sign Serge Gnabry for Raheem Sterling’s replacement.
