Manchester City still have Marc Cucurella as a priority target this summer as Oleksandr Zinchenko who plays in the same position as Cucurella expected to leave for Arsenal, reports Fabrizio Romano.
Marc Cucurella, who played for Brighton and Hove Albion for 39 games in all competitions last season, arrived at the club in 2021 and immediately established himself as one of the most promising left-backs in the Premier League.
So, Manchester City are still trying to sign him this summer after they could lose Oleksandr Zinchenko who is in talks with Arsenal after both clubs agreed a £30m deal.
The Gunners are yet to find agreement with the player, however, they are optimistic to complete the deal as soon as possible.
The 23-year-old leftback is keen to move to Manchester City but the £50m Brighton and Hove Albion want to release him is believed to be high for Manchester City. There’s still no official offer from Manchester City as things stand.
Brighton and Hove Albion will take into consideration any offer they will receive for Marc Cucurella, with Manchester City set to open talks once Oleksandr Zinchenko move to Arsenal is finalised.
