David Raum, who was on Manchester City’s wish list of players to replace Oleksandr Zinchenko, has joined RB Leipzig.
The 24-year-old left-back has joined RB Leipzig from Hoffenheim on a contract until 2027.
Manchester City are still in hunt for a new left-back after Oleksandr Zinchenko’s departure, with Marc Cucurella as a top target, but David Raum was reportedly as a possible target.
Oleksandr Zinchenko left Manchester City this summer to join Arsenal in a deal worth £30m, and the Cityzens immediately started to find his replacement since then.
However, Manchester City reportedly to have agreements in place with Marc Cucurella with the Spaniard also pushing to move to Etihad Stadium, they are yet to find agreement with Brighton and Hove Albion.
Brighton and Hove Albion have set a £50m price tag for the 24-year-old left-back, and Manchester City aren’t willing to match this price, and they reportedly already thinking to abandon this deal.
Both clus still £10m apart in their valuations, with talks still ongoing even though it’s believed to be difficult at the moment.
