Riyad Mahrez is close to extending his contract with Manchester City, with official confirmation expected in the next 48 hours, according to The Athletic.
The 31-year-old winger was Manchester City’s top scorer last season, amassing 24 goals and nine assists in 47 outings across all competitions.
Manchester City has been reportedly close to reaching agreements to extend Riyad Mahrez contract, and both sides could soon officiate an extension which is believed to be a three-year contract.

Riyad Mahrez has been one of Pep Guardiola’s go-to performers on their big Champions League nights, since moving to Etihad Stadium back in 2016 in a deal worth £60m.
