Arsenal have completed and confirmed the signing of Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City as the midfielder becomes the Gunners fifth arrival of the summer transfer window after spending six years at the Manchester City. The defender has been linked with a move away for months and will now join Premier League rivals Arsenal.
The Ukraine international, who can also operate at left-back, is said to have cost the Gunners a fee in the region of £32m, taking the club’s total spend this summer past the £100m mark once again following deals for Marquinhos, Fabio Vieira, Matt Turner and Gabriel Jesus.
He put pen to paper on the deal in the United States after linking up with the pre-season tour this week for his medical and to confirm the final details.
