Liverpool’s horrible form continues and have yet again failed to secure all 3 points from their weekend fixture.
Despite not taking as many shots as their opponents, Brighton were able to hold Liverpool in a draw and steal a point at Anfield.
Leandro Trossard scored a brace inside the first 20 minutes of the game and gave his side a two-goal advantage. Roberto Firmino succeded in pulling one back before half-time.
The Brazilian converted beautifully in the second half and drew Liverpool on level terms.
Soon enough, Sanchez made a rather costly error which led to an own-goal that put Liverpool in front.
Trossard earned his Man of the Match award after completing his hat-trick late in the game.
