Cadiz CF’s Fali was not happy with Vinicius Jr’s comments during their 2-1 loss to Real Madrid on Thursday night.
Real Madrid won their last La Liga match ahead of the World Cup break and continued to put pressure on top-placed Barcelona, thanks to Toni Kroos and Eder Militao’s goals.
Fali said that Vinicius Jr told them that they are a second-division team, saying that a team like Real Madrid must control certain attitudes for their players.
“Rodrygo is a good boy but I’m not going to say anything about Vinícius. I prefer not to speak. A club like Real Madrid must control certain attitudes,” said Fali after the match.
“Vinicius told us we are a second division club. In football we say many things to each other, but there are limits that cannot be exceeded.
“We have been disrespected. I’m leaving angry. There is a player who has to respect his rivals more, then he goes and acts like a victim.”
All this happened after Fali’s aggression Rodrigo Goes but was not sent off, while the Real Madrid players thought he would be sent off.
“Rodrygo said it was an aggression and red card? I say it was a yellow card. Var didn’t see it. Who saw it? Vinicius? He sees many things,” he added.
However, Rodrigo Goes said that the Fali thing is an assault that has no place in football.
