Spanish side Atlético Madrid have expressed their stance on Manchester United target Mattheus Cunha. The Spanish Giants have said they won’t accept €50M for the player, per reports from Fabrizio Romano.
The Brazilian joined Atlético last summer on a 5 year deal and went on to score 7 goals and provided 7 assists for the Spanish side. With 4 years left on his contract, Atlético Madrid are not desperate to sell and it is therefore understandable why they’re looking to get the most out of a potential deal.
Manchester United have been linked with a number of attacking players including Ajax’s Antony, Bologna’s Arnautovic, Chelsea’s Pulisic but are yet to finalize any of the deals and have even missed out on deals for Sesko who has now joined RB Leipzig and Nuñez who joined PL rivals Liverpool.
United have now set their sight on 23 years old Cunha but with Atlético’s tough stance, a deal for the Brazilian might be very complicated.
Manchester United are in a very precarious state as regards to their attack with veteran Cristiano believed to want a move away from the club. Frenchman Anthony Martial is injured while Mason Greenwood is still suspended.
The red devil’s are expected to complete the signing of a forward before the end of the summer but who would it be???
