Mohammed Salah scored a consolation goal for Liverpool around the 80 minute mark and gave Liverpool a glimpse of hope in the match.
United managed to hang on and claim all three points from the match. Lisandro Martinez was more than instmental in keeping United’s defence in shape throughout the match.
