Man Utd are working on a deal to sign Italian based midfielder, Adrien Rabiot, from Juventus. The 27 year old midfielder has just one year left on his running contract and would be a relatively cheaper option to Frenkie De Jong.
United are still looking out for how the De Jong saga will play out. However, they are not sure if they want to wait for it to unfold before setting a new course for the French man.
Rabiot started his top tier career at PSG, making 227 appearances for the French club before leaving for Juventus in 2019. He earned a regular spot in the starting XI for the club since joining and made 129 appearances under three different coaches.
Rabiot made his debut for the France national team in 2016 and has since made 29 appearances for them.
Since Juventus are open to selling the midfielder before his contract runs out, he can be an ideal addition to Ten Hag’s squad. The Dutch manager will have to work on his midfield after they failed their test in the weekend match against Brighton.
