There is quite a haste at the Old Trafford to solve their squad problems before the transfer window closes.
A number of players have been linked with a move to United and the club seems to be more intent to sign players than they have been throughout the summer.
One department that the Red Devils do not want to overlook is in goalkeeping. Manchester United are looking to sign another goalkeeper to compete with De Gea before the transfer deadline on September 1st.
However, United expect Dean Henderson to return to Old Trafford at the end of the season and compete for the first team spot.
Before the start of the season, Erik ten Hag was well aware of David de Gea’s limitations on the ball. The Gaffer decided to stick with him though over fears that making too many changes in his first summer would cause too much disruption in the team.
The situation was identified as a problem long before the season began, but Ten Hag believed it was a minor one as other pressing issues needed to be solved.
