Riyad Mahrez has been shortlisted in the final 10-man list for the CAF MEN’S Player of the year. It was reported a couple of weeks ago that he made the 30-man list but now, he has further made the cut as he makes the final 10-man shortlist.

The Man City man has a decent chance of winning as his Man City side turned out Premier League winners and also got to the semi final of the UEFA Champions league with the Algerian being the team’s top scorer with 24 goals in all competitions.

The Algerian will however face stiff competition from Liverpool pair Mohammed Salah (Egypt) and Sadio Mane (Senegal) who has now moved to Bayern Munich.

Other nominees includes Camerounian duo – Toko Ekambi and Vincent Aboubakar, Senegalese duo – Edouard Mendy and Khalidou Koulibaly, Guinea’s Naby Keita, Ivory Coast’s Sebastian Haller and Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi.
