The 19 year old English left back Josh Wilson-Esbrand joined The Premier League Champions in July 2019 from Westham United, immediately he joined the City Under 18’s set at the age of 18.

He’s about to make his Premier League debut for Manchester City. He was featured in Carabao Cup in the previous season’s campaign 6-1 against Wycombe Wonderers

Since the return of the City Big guns from Summer break, he has been training with the men’s team.

He was used from substitute against Club America in a 2-1 winning.

In the  recent game against Bayern Munich, he came also from bench and performed wonders, both offensive and defensive he was stable till the end of the game.

After the final whistle, The City boss Pep Josep Guardiola was covered by media where he dropped complimentary message concerning the Hot Prospect saying, “He did a really good game. If we can control his injuries, we will have a full back for many years.”

“He’s aggressive to win the duels and with the ball is so clever, he has a good 1 v 1 defender and doesn’t feel the pressure with the ball….The problem with Josh is the last two years he was injured. He had a problem with the knee and muscular issue, but we believe he has the potential.”
