However, Manchester City can stall Chelsea’s deal before they even make the move. Frankie hasn’t yet agreed to join the London blue side and does not seem keen on the move.

With both players not so distant in price valuations, Manchester City can capitalize on this crevice, to lure the highly sought after Dutch to the Etihad.
Frankie De Jong holds an added age advantage compared to Bernardo Silva who seems a want-away from Guardiola’s team. Asides that, he also possesses the same eagle eye passing abilities such as De Bruyne, which is a bedrock of Pep Guardiola’s midfield strength.
