By Los Blancos LiveOctober 15, 2022No Comments

Real Madrid will host Barcelona tomorrow, Sunday at 16:15 at the Santiago Bernabeu in matchday 9 of La Liga.

These two teams are leve on points, 22, however Barcelona has more goals difference than Real Madrid.

Barcelona come to the Santiago Bernabeu following a 3-3 draw with Inter in the Champions League on Wednesday, which has already dampened their hopes of progressing to the knockout stages of the Champions League.

While Real Madrid managed to get one point from Ukraine in a 1-1 draw, which means they’re mathematically qualified for Champions League’s knockout stages.

Their previous encounter saw Barca secure a sensational 4-0 victory, so Blaugrana supporters will be hoping for consecutive Clasico triumphs for the first time since March 2019.

Both teams are yet to lose a game in La Liga this season.

    Team news and probable lineups

Real Madrid will again definitely be without the services of Dani Ceballos due to a hamstring injury, while Thibaut Courtois has allegedly lost his battle to overcome a back problem in time for El Clasico.

Antonio Rudiger is also expected to be fit despite suffering a nasty head injury when scoring his side’s leveller against Shakhtar in the Champions League.

As for Barcelona, Jules Kounde is expected to make a timely return from injury for the Catalan side, while Memphis Depay, Hector Bellerin, Ronald Araujo and Andreas Christensen remain on the sidelines through injury.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Lunin; Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Mendy; Modric, Tchouameni, Kroos; Valverde, Benzema, Vinicius.

Barcelona possible starting lineup: Ter Stegen; Roberto, Kounde, E Garcia, Balde; Gavi, Busquets, Pedri; Dembele, Lewandowski, Fati.
